Beauty Boxes - Worth it or not?

There seem to be a few beauty boxes out there like Glossybox and JolieBox.

Are they worth the money and which is the best one?

I love make up and all the girly stuff!

Absolutely not worth it. Have tried carmine and glossybox. Loads of us on MN signed up but most have cancelled.

I tried glossybox and stopped. Rubbish IMO and they don't like complaints or negativity about it either. All I got was bloody fake eyelashes every month and sample sizes of horrible perfume. I lasted 6 months and only received one box that I thought was pretty good.

The box that made me stop was when some people got hd brows products and others including me got fake eyelashes - again.

I got to review a Lux Box. Was pretty unimpressed. It had a full sized fake tan in there, in a box for November. It was far too dark for my skin as well. Plus an eyeliner pencil and a sample of skin oil.

Not that great at all.

Have seen lots of unimpressed reviews of Glossy Box too. Apparently they did a "Harrods Luxury" special which members paid extra for. Only to find they'd got Clarins samples and stuff which they would get anyway from Boots. The company had to apologise to a lot of people who cancelled their membership- I think one Beauty Blogger said she'd expected YSL and the like.

I'm about to cancel my Glossybox.
It's just absolute crap. I loved the first couple, but I use NOTHING. I have samples of shit things all around the house that just aren't used.
Last month I got a £5 lipstick. Alright, it was full size - in a very bright, very unflattering, would make a drag queens eyes water, pink. £5 Lipstick. In a 'luxury samples' box. Grrr.
Not worth the money, tbh.

I had Glossybox (long since cancelled), and was amongst the unimpressed. I don't think I'd recommend, unless you can trial it at an absolute bargain price.

i had glossy box. Cancelled after about 3 months. Crap

Apparently Birch Box has just started over here.

The boxes on Youtube from the USA look much more exciting than ours. :(

I get the Latest In Beauty boxes - they are great .

Plenty of choice either to get a "little beauty box" , a "larger sample beauty box" or editors fave boxes .
