Help me look less wrecked

I have a 10month old who is currently waking every hour and then refuses to nap during the day plus I also work 3 nights a week 7pm-1am. All added up I look as exhausted as I feel and am getting fed up of everyone saying to me 'oh you look so tired, are you ill?' I need to fix this before I hurt someone! Grin

I know what I really need is 12 hours uninterrupted sleep but until that day comes (ha!) can anyone point me in the direction of products they use to disguise extreme fatigue?

Thanks!

Bourjouis 10 hrs sleep effect is good for radiance and not too expensive. Seems to do a fairly decent job with a sweep of bronzer on cheekbones, nose and jaw-line. Quick lick of mascara and then I look just about ok to leave the house!

Drink bucketloads of water. I should practise what I preach

Very light or gradual fake tan for the face. Tiny dot of liquid or cream blusher rubbed on cheeks and you're done!

I love Becca beach tint, or Origins pinch your cheeks.

Thanks for the recommendations. Will definitely check those out.

I really do need to drink more water. I always mean too but then the whole day has gone by and I have has about one glass !

Water, as already said - and second the light facial tan too. Some BB cream and touche eclat (or equivalent) and blusher. And get to know which colours work next to your face and avoid the others! Some sort of exercise that works for you will genuinely get some colour going too - a brisk walk if nothing else.

MoomieAndFreddie · 05/01/2013 11:19

yes water, loads of it

fresh air

exercise

lots of fruit and veg

and a shitload of touche eclate :o

Lots of water - keep a bottle with you topped up and swig regularly
A 'glowy' light foundation like Bourjois Healthy Mix (£) or YSL Touché Éclat Foundation (££)
Cream blusher

I'd also add lipstick or lipgloss with colour, it makes me look more alive Smile

Thanks all

I would love to get more exercise bit as I am averaging about 3 hours sleep a night I barely have the energy to stay awake! Grin

Love Touché Éclat products - bit pricy for me at the mo but will add to my wish list Smile

Thanks for the replies

Seriously, water - I also need to do this too! Take a vitamin if you're not already doing this. Get someone to take your baby for a v long walk and catch up whenever you can during the day. Sorry to hear about the wakings. Teeth is it?

Ellisisland · 07/01/2013 10:21

Teeth and he still gets bad wind so is up in pain a lot. Poor baby :(

I have filled a litre bottle of water today and am determined to drink it all by the end of the day! Grin

Aldi do a great Touche Éclat-type concealer :)
