Hello all... Can you suggest some good places for getting measured for bra and some help in buying it based on your experience?

Bravissimo or Rigby and Peller are about the best places.

Anywhere which starts adding inches to your underbust measurement - run a mile. The band should be firm - as a guidelines, your underbust measurement in inches is your back size. There are lots of online calculators - and they are almost universally wrong!

Do not get fitted in M&S, La Senza, Ann Summers or about 101 other places :)

There are a few experts on here. Measure under your bust and around the fullest part, give the figures here and someone will suggest sizes for you.

Under bust will give the back size e.g. 34, 36, etc. The difference between the over bust and under bust gives the cup size e.g. 1 inch difference gives an A cup, 2 inches gives a B cup, etc, etc

Don't what ever you do go to M&S

After having 2 kids and not wearing the correct size for over 6 years I went to debenhams was fitted and it's the best money I've EVER spent. It's changed my shape so much Smile

Thanks guys... I will surely avoid the places you all said I shouldn't go. I wanted a professional opinion where someone can help me in buying the bra as well. I will look out for bravissimo and debenhams.
