Diamond studs?

Celebrated a big birthday this week and rally fancy buying myself some small diamond studs.

Am I best going to high street jeweller or is there somewhere else where I would get better value for money? I haven't got a fortune to spend, but don't want to end up getting ripped off buying cubic zirconias or whatever.

Thanks

Thing is I don't think you get value for money at a high street jewellers.

We have a little jewellers in town - he is in a little scutty shop and you really have to search in his window to find stuff. But I can go in and say I would like to buy some diamond studs, could you show me some around the £500/600 mark. He will bring some out that might be £400 and then will work upwards to £800. He will talk me through why say the ones at £600 might be smaller than the £400 etc. I will then pick a pair and say I have x amount to spend and what is his best price.

Here
I got my engagement ring from here and am really happy with it. Lots of choice in style and quality of diamond and pretty good prices too I think.

Can you get to the jewellery quarter in Birmingham or Hatton Garden in London?
