I bought their 'Radiance' moisturiser with SPF last month in an emergency and have been really quite impressed. Do they make any other products and has anybody tried any of them?

I use the Vit E hot cloth cleanser and the Vit E face oil. Both lovely and excellent VFM. Have made a big difference to my skin and are comparable to higher end products. I am now on the look out for the hydrating serum, but it is in short supply at my local store.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/12/2012 20:55

Thank you. Do you use the oil at night time?

Yes bought on the advice of 99 year old grandma who had perfect skin despite a tough life

Have Vit E with SPF moisturiser and the night time equivalent which I've found not only excellent value but comparable with more expensive brands, kind to skin and effective.

MooMinCow · 30/12/2012 21:03

Superdrug are launching a high end range soon. Info here

shoeprincess2 · 30/12/2012 21:05

Yes, I put about 3 drops of the oil on at night. Nothing else on top. Wake up with very soft and glowing skin. I even used a bit of the oil on a small patch of cradle cap on my 3 month old's head. Cleared it up a treat, which was a bonus. Only cost £1.99!!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/12/2012 21:07

Thank you. I think I'll get the oil and maybe the night cream. I like to use an exfoliating face wash and I didn't much like Liz Earle's hot cloth wash (lovely smell but made me spotty). Will look out for the new stuff too.

I mix the radiance moisturiser with foundation in the summer its great

shoeprincess2 · 30/12/2012 21:10

I, too, had a bad reaction to C & E. The superdrug one is perfect for my skin. It is buy one get one half price at the moment. I recommend the Hot Cloth Cleanser.

booksinbed · 30/12/2012 21:11

second the oil - its the best !!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/12/2012 21:15

Brilliant. Will go and investigate tomorrow!

I really love a lot of Superdrug own brand face care stuff. I have used the hot cloth cleanser and really like it - I bought it earlier on in the year when they were two for £2.99 despite normally being £5.99 or thereabouts each. I like the Simply Pure range and the deep action blemish gel too.

ThatVikRinA22 · 30/12/2012 22:22

very interested in the premium range - anyone know when its out?

shoeprincess2 · 31/12/2012 09:48

Mid to late January Vicar

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 31/12/2012 15:26

I bought the Vitamin E oil and the Vitamin E eyecream. If I like those, I'll buy the hot cloth cleanser next.

Oh and they were two for £3.99 so an absolute bargain if good! :)

I've been using a lot of Superdrug own brand products in general and really rate them. They are BUAV approved so cruelty free which is why I switched. Using the hot cloth cleansers from the vitamin E and Radiance range, the Radiance balm and mask and the Optimum apple moisturiser.

I previously used a mix of brands but a lot of Elemis including the Melting CLeansing Gel which was lovely, but am enjoying the cost saving with Superdrug.

I am a bit unsure about the BUAV status of Liz Earle now they are owned by Avon, and also whether Elemis lost their approval by allowing animal testing so they could sell in China.

AlwaysReadyForABlether · 31/12/2012 21:26

I'm a recent convert to Superdrug and have been using the Natural Radiance hot cloth cleanser and the day cream. Really like them both so would definitely try more in the range.
That new line looks interesting though - will be keeping an eye out for that.

Devora · 31/12/2012 21:31

It' s a great range. I particularly like the cleanser.

MooMinCow · 31/12/2012 21:33

I didn't like the Vit E hot cloth cleanser as it felt too drying on my skin but the Radiance one is fab (and so much cheaper than LE). Don't know whether to try some more from that range, try the Body Shop Aloe range or wait for the new range to come out!

pinkyp · 31/12/2012 21:35

I highly recommend hot cloth cleanser! I've tried no7 but much prefer Superdrugs. I'm definately going to try the rest if the range

AlwaysReadyForABlether · 31/12/2012 22:02

I didn't buy the Vitamin E hot cloth cleanser after reading on here that it can be drying. But I love the Radiance one.

JemimaPuddle · 01/01/2013 09:38

The vitamin E all over body cream is really fab too. I always get a few when it's on offer, although its very cheap anyway. It leaves my dry legs looking & feeling really soft and it lasts too.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/01/2013 15:17

Used the oil last night but have woken up feeling quite itchy and tight.

FunnyLittleFrog · 01/01/2013 15:19

The Vit E body scrub is an absolute classic, been buying it for over 10 years and completely love it.

MooMinCow · 01/01/2013 17:39

Remus - this Boots Botanics facial oil is fantastic, and half price now.

I am currently using the Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating cream which is great for dehydrated skin
