Is this too frumpy for a wedding?

Phase Eight skirt

I've been considering it for a while - I'd wear it with a black wrap top as it needs to be breastfeeding friendly.

Any other suggestions? I'll be about size 14 but mahoosive boobs.

no, but you could do better i think

AKissIsNotAContract · 30/12/2012 18:46

At that price you might as well get it. I don't think it's frumpy.

INeedThatForkOff · 30/12/2012 18:46

Please help me! I'm unstylish at the best of times, but would prefer not to just be the podgy older cousin ... as usual.

A dress in that pattern would be lovely for a wedding.

Passmethecrisps · 30/12/2012 18:47

I like it. I also agree that at the price you could get it anyway

AKissIsNotAContract · 30/12/2012 18:48

I would go for a 1950's style dress. Very flattering on curvy shapes and lovely for a wedding.

CooEeeEldridge · 30/12/2012 18:48

I think it's nice actually, what shoes are you thinking? Is it a winter wedding? I'd be wary that the wrap top doesent make it a but frumpy though?

nilbyname · 30/12/2012 18:48

I think it is fine....but agree with Custrado.

What about a simple warp dress but with great accessories?

this is nice

the picture is not great but I like the neckline on this

INeedThatForkOff · 30/12/2012 18:51

Oh, I like the second Seraphine one. 50s tea dress is a nice idea but I think I'd look matronly.

I was going to suggest this

SantasENormaSnob · 30/12/2012 19:01

I really don't like it tbh.

Very frumpy imo.

Sorry.

INeedThatForkOff · 30/12/2012 20:27

Hmm. The Seraphine one is maternity / nursing. I think it'll make me feel like I look pregnant.

I think if you wear it like the model with those high shoes and a red bag/lipstick then you'll be more than glam enough. I think the the seraphine dresses are more dull! You could get a posh frock, but then is it worth it when you might be uncomfortable feeding and if you might be a different shape in a few months?

simplesusan · 30/12/2012 22:44

I really like it. It looks expensive and unique.

MrsBonkers · 31/12/2012 02:40

Monsoon have got some lovely skirts in their sale at the moment.

notMarlene · 31/12/2012 16:06

this? Maybe?
