What shoes? Please!

Am planning to wear aubergine skinny cords on Christmas Day with a cream top. What shoes? Normally wear long black boots with them but don't want to be wearing boots all day on my cream carpet. I'm limited to a teeny tiny Marks and a fairly small Next! Any suggestions please?

Black patent shoes of some sort?
I would wear ballet shoes, bu could do sparkly heels maybe?

Start with boots and move to shoes later?

Those are lovely Family. I hadn't thought of tan - have tan ankle boots which might be okay, not as dressy but if can't find comfy flats or low heels, then the boots will have to do!
