The first looks gorilla-like.

2nd. The first is hideous, imho. But all the sales are starting now and I reckon you'll be able to find something nicer than either of them tbh.

The first one looks like it comes from Primark.

I buy loads at Primark but I choose carefully so it doesn't look like it iyswim.

And maybe boofed (is there such a word) up afterwards with a cool hair dryer.

I was looking for a weekend jacket. I live in jeans most of the time. Do a school run but in car so dont need a long thick coat.

Def number 2. Number 1 is just a bit fraggle rock. There I've said it. Sorry! Could jazz it up with a scarf if you are going any where.
