how long does unopened perfume last for?

it seems i have been given 2 identical perfumes for xmas - if i keep one unopened how long will it last? A 50ml can last me a year, so if i kept the other one unopened will it last until next year?

Should definitely be fine until next year.
perfume lasts a long time unopened.

Keep in box, out of direct sunshine and it should last for years and years.
Sometimes the top notes fade and turn, but the dry down is fine.

Just don't put in fridge - that's some nonsense that keeps being suggested.

dont have receipt and seems rude to ask - plus i wear it and love it so no problem for me to have 2! just want to save one but i know perfume can go off.....

It will definitely last 2 years until opened and then another 2 years on e openef
