Emergency DH (cashmere?) jumper needed!

I have been too too rubbish about presents for him - need a lovely men's jumper, size L, that I can order today in time to be delivered or call into a shop to pick up. Plain, prob navy/dark grey sort of thing - have tried Uniqlo but no stock in his size. Is M & S my best bet, or has anyone got any bright ideas?

John Lewis have a nice cashmere/merino blends jumpers. I bought dh a nice chunky(ish) one in charcoal grey with a small zip at the neck for £49.

I tell a lie - it's merino/cashmerino cashmere. here It says it's out of stcok but I got a Large in my local store two days ago. If you have a JL close by, you could call them and ask.

I used to see beautiful cashmere jumpers in sainsburys, they seemed to pop up every winter. Agreed with the M&S suggestion too, they have lovely clothes.

you can still do click and collect at john lewis I think - and gap have some really good cashmere jumpers for men - a bit different: one I bought for ds2 is waffle cashmere with a kind of sweatshirt neck - they do more conventional styles too.

if your budget is less restrictive then if you have a Brora nearby just nip in there and pick anything - they are all lovely. Good luck!

Thank you all! Do have Brora, though am slightly aghast at what that might come to - will check the others tomorrow, and have found some lovely looking things in the sale in Reiss. There is hop, I think!

ohbugger - get something lovely from brora and then you can wear it too, that way you're basically halving the cost per wear

Try TKMaxx. Think you can order until 5pm tomorrow for Christmas delivery, and they're doing free next day delivery at the moment too.

The M&S cashmere jumpers are lovely, very soft cashmere and they wash well. DH has lots. I got him a Gap cashmere hoody this year but sent it back, very thin knit and not nearly as soft as the M&S.

Edinburgh woollen mill have half price cashmere online. Really good prices.
