I've got that one, can't fault it and I paid £14.99 not £9.99 Xmas Angry

What is the difference between using a gadget like this and a razor? Surely the hair would come back thicker and stubblier if you used one or the other?

MistletoeAndVino · 19/12/2012 23:26

For me Jingle because the JML cuts the hair above the skin I don't get any ingrown hairs or skin irritation like with a razor.

scripsi · 19/12/2012 23:34

Oh good! sorry to hear you paid more though MistletoeAndVino. When you say that it cuts the hair above the skin, does it leave a bristle-y feeling?

I am tempted to buy one and try it but am so worried about the appearance of hair as it grows back. At the moment I describes myself as having peach fuzz furry face which I hate. I get rid of it by having it threaded which is costly and uncomfortable.

scripsi · 19/12/2012 23:45

Jingle I am the same - but I can't tolerate threading or waxing. I am on the verge of committing to the JML ...

Does it not grow back more noticeable and bristle'y ? I would love to use something like this but am a bit scared I will look like my OH with the stubble Xmas Blush

MistletoeAndVino · 20/12/2012 07:59

It doesn't give that lovely smooth as a babies bottom feel to my top lip but nothing noticeable, no stubble. I use it every other day to make sure its kept in check. The hairs are pretty fine so not very noticeable anyway.

QuinnFabray · 20/12/2012 09:45

Its the only thing that doesnt irritate my skin. If I use a normal razor Im guaranteed a rash every time. I use it every two or three days, takes less than a minute. Also use it for nose hair and bikini line too. I've used other ones as well, not just the JML, they're all pretty good, except the Boots own one was a bit rubbish.

valiumredhead · 20/12/2012 09:52

I'll get one for a tenner - I dithered at nearly £15!

scripsi · 20/12/2012 11:14

QuinnFabray that sounds ideal, I just need something in between braving veet sessions, I have PCOS but fair hair so I need to keep it all in check regularly or it gets me down - does the one linked to also do nose hair?
