Help needed ASAP re tights. Help!

I am going to my ds's gf's 21st party on Saturday night. Her theme is "formal", but it's in the local village hall, so not terrifically posh. It will be the first time I have met her family, so I want to look good (well, gorgeous, sophisticated and stylish tbh).

I'm wearing a black 1950s style dress with a full skirt several inches below my knees. A gold shrug up top, and black shoes.

My question is about tights. No tights ( just fake tan natch), black sheer tights, nude tights or what?

Btw, my legs are not my best feature, hence the longer length skirt. I can get away with a few inches showing though.

I'd never thought of fishnets. The trouble is I'm 51! I only look 29 though, obviously.

M&S do seamed ones, if Boring Town runs to an M&S. They do Micro nude fishnets too.

Primark do some lovely nude hold ups with a black seam. They are really nice and only £4 I think.

Yep, Boring Town has an M & S and a Primark. I will investigate on Friday.
