I'd prefer the silver one for the matchy-matchy-ness with the chain, though I think gold-colour is more "now".

But why not put a call out for MrsCumberbatch to see how she thinks the two materials (brass/steel) will age?

I like! I'm considered quirky by my friends (hope that's a good thing) and am 32. I would wear it and like silver best.

do you mean how they will age fashion wise or just how the material itself will age (IYKWIM - i.e. will it change colour?)

Gold is on trend at the moment as previous posters have said. I would rather the chain matched though. But that's just me!
