Pyjamas with longer legs

I am 5'7", so not exceptionally tall, but I struggle to find pyjamas with legs that don't flap halfway up my calves. Can anyone recommend anywhere that sells pyjamas with longer legs?

I find the ones in Fat Face are generally longer and (usefully) keep their length when washing. I've totally given up on M&S pyjamas as they always seem to shrink in the length.

Bunbaker · 17/12/2012 09:08

I agree about M & S shrinking. I looked at some in Fat Face the other day and thought they looked longer, but was put off by the price - £28.00 just for the trousers. I will wait until the sales then.

I got my first pair in the sales but have also since bought out of sale. They are quite long lasting/hard wearing so worth the money. The January sales are just round the corner though! I also don't bother with their matching vests...

I have two pairs from Landsend, they are nice and long and incredibly soft and have a very comfy waistband. I have the grey marl jersey ones. I have washed them lots of times and they don't seem to have shrunk. I'm 5'7 too and find all others too short.

PeachTown · 17/12/2012 09:53

Men's! Or H&M are good for long things.

NaokHoHoHo · 17/12/2012 10:06

I'm 6'. It's a pain in the arse in this country. I actually ended up giving in and asked my mother to send me some from Holland. Ridiculous, of course. But now I have pyjamas that don't leave me with cold ankles!

brainonastick · 17/12/2012 10:07

I had some from Monsoon last year which were nice and long (I'm 5'8), you could try there as well.

Battlefront · 17/12/2012 10:17

M&S PJs do shink, I agree, especially if tumble dried, but that's common with most cotton IME.

However, they also sell long length bottoms. I'm also 5'7" and but the long length, which will be too long until it's been washed.

Hush do longer leg options.

wickedfairy · 17/12/2012 14:11

Long tall Sally do them, 36" legs. I am 5'8'' and they are too long for me but I get them anyway as all others are too short. £25 each but they last ages and wash well

ILikeToHoHoHo · 17/12/2012 14:12

Next do most of their pj's in longer lengths.

brighthair · 17/12/2012 14:24

Website called tallgirls do them
Men's asda pjs are long, I got some star patterned ones from there
If you know anyone In America Victoria's Secret do long length

Thank you for all your replies. Plenty to go at.

I did end up buying a pair on men's M & S pyjamas one year, but had forgotten that option.

I will try the shops first as I am a bit of a between size person and prefer to try things on before buying - even pyjamas.

How about trying onesie pyjamas. I have the lopeard spot ones:
www.funzee.co.uk/product-range/all-in-one-cotton-onesie-leopard-spot-print
and if anything the legs are too long.

Bunbaker · 18/12/2012 08:52

No way am I wearing onesies they are, IMO, for children and teenagers. I am 54 and far too old for gimmicky pyjamas, besides I would get too hot in them.

I bought some mens pyjamas at Lidl yesterday for £4.99 which are long enough for my 36" inside leg. Don't know whether they will be once DH has baked them in the dryer tho!
