Bikini wax etiquette - poss TMI!

I've always used the waxed strips and done a short back and sides DIY job at home but am cnsidering going for a professional bikini wax. Can someone pls tell me the etiquette - I suppose it depends on what type you want whether you remove knickers or not? And do you have to have the hair a certain length etc.

TIA!!

Unless you go for a brazilian, keep your knickers on and dont wear your best pair because they'll probably get stained by the wax. If your hair is long, trim it to 1.5" long so its easier.
Good luck

I just have the edges neatened so leave pants on and pull them inwards so the beautician can apply the wax as needed (does that make sense?) she sometimes puts her hand on my thigh to pull skin tight but now I know what needs doing I do that! I don't trim it or anything beforehand although I do take some paracetamol Smile

I had a Brazilian a few weeks ago and they provided paper pants although we ended up cutting the sides so they were easier to move across for access.

I have brazilians and it's knickers off.

When I used to have a more conservative, tidy up style waxing, I kept them on.

Thanks ladies :)

I wouldn't mind trying a Brazilian but don't think I'm ready for that yet although having had my daughter 4 months ago, everyone seems to have had a shufty down there so not sure why I care about a beautician!

My Brazilian was in preparation of ds2s birth. I hadn't been able to see/reach the area for months, it was great to have a professional sort it out!
