Has anyone got/seen these boots from New Look?

Glitter back ankle boots.

I saw the black version today, and they are much better looking in the flesh than on the website, althouhgh they didin't have my size. Just looked online and they do have the tan, but I'm hesitating as they do look very obviously synthetic. Anyone got them or seen them? They're only £12.50, and I am partial to a bit of sparkle!

I haven't seen in the flesh but I think you've got to take a view...you either spend £12 on something that might not last or you might not wear often. Or...you save up and spend £50 ish on similar leather ones that you'll wear to death

Hmm, I know you're right and tbh I'd rather not spend £50 when I know they are going to be moved into the mum-boot category before you know it! I think I'll go for it...

Oooh my first post! I have these boots, in the black and I LOVE them, I wear them to death. They are so versatile but also quite subtle. I saw them in the tan too and wasn't taken with them, thought they looked a bit tacky. I don't worry about the synthetic thing as I don't wear leather but these were a bit too 'pretend' leather, even for me.

Am contemplating getting another pair in the black actually, for when my current pair die.

Hi Amarena - welcome to MN! Be quick if you want more black, there were ony 2 pairs in store today, and there aren't many sizes left online. I think it was the subtlety of them that appealed, but Cybbo's right, for £12.50 I don't suppose I can go wrong with the tan! I already have these and there is a bit of a tan boot-shaped hole in my wardrobe, so it seems a better choice while I look for a pair that will last and not go out of fashion in 5 mins...

I agree you don't need the black glitter ones with the fab ones you already have. Now I'm pondering the tan myself....fickle indeed!
