Jumper dresses

Just got a job as a teaching assistant. Would like to get done jumper dresses to wear with thick tights or leggings for work. Any suggestions?? Need to be washable and practical.

Are you allowed to wear leggings? Even a jumper dress would raise eyes at our place .

The boat neck knitted dress from asos is great-I wear with boots and tights. There's some codes around I think.

The senco who interviewed me was wearing dress and leggings so I assume so. Going in to meet everyone on Tuesday so will have a good look.

They must allow informal dress then . Just watch the length, as a TA you will often beep crouched down next to children meaning that a shorter length will leave you rather exposed .

H&M have got some good jumper dresses at the moment. I wear them at our school, with leggings.

I am sure you wouldn't knowingly wear anything inappropriate, I thought you might not realise how much of your day will be spent crouching down or bent over.

I got a lovely Fairisle jumper dress in Primark a few weeks ago. Only 16 quid and it's lovely.

I'm a TA and live in my leggings and boots, I tend to wear above the knee dresses or jumper dresses. I think that by wearing leggings instead of tights means I can squat safely...
