Cream tights and black boots?

Will they go together? I want to wear them with a cream and black wrap dress- if it wouldn't work, what would look better?

No. Cream tights belong on small children only. They are so unflattering.

What about a bright pair of coloured tights to add a bit of colour? A deep mauve or teal?

Ah I see, this is why I need your help! The dress is mainly cream with large black spots, would black/colour tights work with it, would you think?

Black tights definitely! Cream tights are also quite unflattering, giving the illusion your legs are larger & paler than they actually are, especially if worn with black shoes. Black tights on the other hand makes your legs appear slimmer and longer if combined with black shoes. A colour change in the ankle area (shoes/tights combination) cuts your legs off making them appear shorter... Will try to find the rest of the 'rules'!

I think a cream knitted tight (like a cable knit or something) could look good, but cream opaques - no way!

They are a cable knit tights, but I have legs like tree trunks, in both length and size

Black tights it shall be then, I'll save the cream tights as thermal underwear instead
