Is 32 too old to......

Go out with friends wearing a very tight, quite slutty bandage dress? My figure is ok, not perfect for such a tight dress but could be worse. It's been in my wardrobe unworn for a couple of years, still has the tags on. I promised myself if I lost weight by Christmas I'd wear it. I've dropped 1.5 stone but I'm still worried about looking like an old snapper in it!

Absolutely not! Go out and have fun!!

cassell · 14/12/2012 23:06

I'm 31 and own (and wear!) several tight bandage type dresses so I say go for it! I usually wear spandex type thing underneath as gives a better shape

Why not put it on, take a few snaps of yourself from several angles and put them on your profile. We can give you our opinions.

I have a pic on my phone I sent to a friend earlier but I can't get it on here and it has my face in anyway. I'm in bed and all alone so can't do another one tonight

32 is a mere whipper snapper. If I was 32, I'd go to work in a bloody bikini! Do it whilst you can!

Farlalalala · 15/12/2012 21:02

32 is not too old to do anything.

Missbopeep · 16/12/2012 15:41

Oh FGS- you are still a mere child. Women in their 60s wear such dresses and look fine if they have the figure.

DerbyNottsLeicsNightNanny · 16/12/2012 15:54

I'm 34 and would wear one - if I ever went 'properly out', which I dont seem to do these days! My figure is OK too, not perfect though at all. I would prob wear with thick black tights and poss spanx too if you need them.

Sleepwhenidie · 16/12/2012 16:04

Agree with Hect, we need a pic, age isnt relevant, what it looks like is!

SantasNaughtySack · 16/12/2012 16:37

When did 32 become old?! You numpty, don't worry about your bloody age yet Grin
Congratulations on the weight loss, good for you.
Agree about posting pictures for honest opinions about the dress, and I hope you have a wonderful night Smile

sweetheart · 16/12/2012 18:32

I did wear it and had a fab night thanks Grin i felt a bit self conscious at the beginning but that went after a few drinks lol. Think I might even wear it again in the future after waiting so long

What is a bandage dress?

SantasNaughtySack · 18/12/2012 08:50

This, Jingle
Coincidentally, it's also the dress I have a bit of a crush on if anyone fancies doing a good deed Xmas Wink once I've lost 10 stone, anyway Grin

Charliefox, I was going out in a bikini when I was 32 [fshame]. In my defence, it was the 90's.
