Psoriasis - your best tips.

I have discovered I have Psoriasis on my knees, elbows and back, it doesn't respond to the oils and moisturiser I normally use on my eczema and I can't seem to get rid of it - I'm awaiting a prescription of steroid creams which hopefully will help but does anyone have any other trick or tips that might help the cold weather seems to be making it worse.

another vote for cutting out gluten

Interestingly a type of dermatitus which affects knees and elbows is a result of gluten intolerance. I gave up gluten last year but it made no difference to my skin, I've given up dairy in the past too - although that was for eczema, no difference. In fact I've tried giving up most food types,
Might try gluten free again, maybe for a longer this time.

Aye, stress is the big one and mine went away as quickly as it came so it can pass.

Dovonex cream kept mine under control but one of the most effective things was the sun! Sadly we don't get much here Sad but maybe a holiday will help with sun and stress.

Perhaps not the best long term option but any excuse to go on holiday Smile
