I've tried fizzling and I've got one of those scapey stick with a hole in things, but still have millions lots of little blackheads over my face Blush.

Anyone know of a magical potion to bring them to the surface so I can squeeze them out to reveal my gorgeous complexion? Xmas Grin

Have you tried the salicylic acid peel?

Marylou2 · 12/12/2012 15:50

Clarisonic will clear them up in no time. Sounds expensive but will change your skin beyong recognition. Maybe a christmas present to yourself?

Kinora · 12/12/2012 15:56

I use Clearasil facial shrub on my blacked prone nose and chin. I use it everyday and it does the trick.

Before you resort to expensive methods, what have you tried?

AlwaysBizzy · 12/12/2012 16:12

I have a Tresonic from QVC...like clarisonic but a fraction of the price. Nothing else has ever worked

Retin A or a glycolic product like Liquid Gold. Both smooth out fine lines too, bonus!

use the blardy neutrogena stuff that I we everyone keeps liking to on here
the 3 in 1 stress hydrating stuff

blackheads are just an oxidisation of too much oil on your face
sometimes the stuff we use on our t zone isn't helpful and actually makes us produce more oil rather than less or sometimes the product only works topically

the neutrogena is a good bha which means that it has a decent amount of salicylic acid in it
a salycylic acid peel is also excellent as mentioned
as far as i know
the bha actually gets into the pores and helps sort out the problem with oil production from there.

i have used everything
i had oilslick skin as a teen and my b had bad bad acne
between us we have bought all of boots at some point

this stuff is brilliant
I no longer have pores on my nose...it's a miracle
i use it after a olay washcloth sensitive, rinse with warm water, pat dry then the neutrogena
i also use a aha but far less often now that i have lovely poreless high definition skin

Decleor toner for oily skin is brilliant for this. You can get a 400ml bottle for £18 and it lasts ages. Takes dirt off your face you never knew was there and is kind enough for quite sensitive skin.

Body Shop blue corn mask

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/12/2012 19:29

I've bought the neutrogena spot stress controll purely because of this thread. So far my s&b list goes like this;

Snail gel = fail
Rosehip oil = fail

Sech vite = love it.

I'm due a success arent I?

BiteTheTopsOffIcedGems · 15/12/2012 19:34

The strips you stick on your nose. From the pound shop. They work well and I LOVE them

WayneDeer · 17/12/2012 00:18

The nose strips work only until you produce oil and it hits the air again
A bha will work in the cell
