After two years of thinking about it, reading about it and asking about it...yesterday I had botox and fillers!

I can't see any results as yet from the botox on the vertical line in between my eyebrows, but the fillers in the corners of my mouth are gone!!! I love it. I can't stop looking in the mirror and smiling. Happy!

The Botox will gradually creep up over the next few days and you'll be well chuffed, just you watch! Did you think it hurt?

I completely understand if you'd rather not say, but can you give me a vague ballpark figure of how many £££s it cost?

CrispsForBreakfast · 08/12/2012 21:07

I hope it creeps up! Hurt? Not really...no more than an eyebrow wax TBH. The one right on the bridge of my nose did make me curl my toes for a second but that was it really. The fillers hurt more but even they were better than I expected. Put it this way, it was better than a jab in the mouth from the dentist when having a filling.

No problem Hassled...one area of botox £220 and 1ml of filler £300. Because I had the two together they gave it for £450,

From what I understand one botox area is £220, if you have 2 areas it's £280 etc...fillers start at 1ml at £300

Thank you - I don't know if I'd ever have the guts to go for it, but it's certainly something I've thought about. Nice to have an idea of price.

I was SO scared...I picked up the phone to call the whole thing off so many times. I even walked into the appointment thinking I can't do it...but I did and I'm SO glad I did.

I work in the NHS and I (stalked) checked out the doctor doing the procedure.
