Sorry for such a vain question but..

I have to ask a very vain question, I hope you will all forgive me but I would really appreciate your advice.Smile

Last Friday night I dropped a really heavy frying pan onto my toe (sort of sideways on, with the rim landing first). It hurt and I swore a lot.

My toenail was split TMI, sorry, and it bled a lot. Next morning, I expected it to be black. But it wasn't. It looked and looks fine, all bar the split.

My question is this. I always wear nail varnish on my toes. Always. Except for the last week, to allow healing. Do you think it would be OK to put some back on now? Or should I wait?

Any ideas?
