accessories for LBD

just wondering if there's an 'in' colour for shoes and accessories to go with a black dress. im thinking metallic?

I think you can get away with anything with black tbh. Pick one thing you really love, either shoes or a necklace and work the rest around that, whatever colour it is. I have two beautiful vintage diamante necklaces so I often wear black and diamante shoes (ancient ones from lk bennett) but I am thinking of wearing these this year. I have a gorgeous amethyst necklace too so I sometimes accessorise with purple.
