Boden rainy day mac

does anyone know what the colour of the lining is like on the fawn/beige rainy day mac? It looks very orange on the website would you say this pic is fairly accurate (not sure if keen on the orange?).

Also what do people think of these coats? Are they suitable for cold weather and are they frumpy?!

I have the black one and it looks stylish but isn't nearly as warm as I had hoped. I've just bought the aspen jacket to wear on cold days instead. You definitely couldn't do a winter trip to the park in the rainy day mac.

I sent one back this year as I didn't think it was up to the quality of the one I bought last year. I wore last years one loads and it's showing some signs of wear so thought I would get a lack one. The sizing is different and the weight of the coat is less and it feels less like a winter-ish coat and more like a cold day in spring coat. I also would say watch out for the dry cleaning bills if you do buy a light colour.

I have bought a Lands End one this year.

I have the fawn one, the lining is a red/orange, it's not particularly bright. The pic of the model wearing the coat is a true representation of colour, the pic of just the coat is not.

Also I love mine, have had many compliments and it is plenty warm enough for me.

just checked and the fawn one isnt available in my size anyway, could go for the black one still deciding! Thanks for the feedback

I've just returned the fawn one after wearing it for a few weeks. It was fairly warm but looked permanently creased and scruffy, every time I caught sight of my reflection I looked like a bag lady. The coated fabric just doesn't want to look even remotely smooth or smart. Lining was bright coral pink I'd say
