Rennie Mackintosh stud earrings?

A colleague of mine is leaving the UK, and I'm looking to get her a small present. As she's not from the UK I'd like to get her something that's subtly "British" and as space is of a premium I'm thinking of jewellery. I was wondering what people thought of Rennie Mackintosh type stud earrings? Are they too old-ladyish? She's mid thirties and reasonably stylish. Any other ideas? About £10-£15. These are the ones I was thinking of:www.amazon.co.uk/Heritage-Mackintosh-Open-Rose-Earrings/dp/B003NX6B7M
Thanks!

I like these. I have a pair of slightly dangly ones which are Rennie Mackintosh. Good idea to get her something that is British.

I have dangly ones too but I might just treat myself to these studs, they're very pretty. I'm an old lay though.
