Knitwear that doesn't bobble - mission impossible?

Can anyone recommend quality knitwear that won't shrink, bobble and last more than one season? Thanks!

White Company are really good for quality knitware. I get stuff in the sale but would pay £100+ for a nice piece. I went out last night in a good cashmere WC jumper and it was noted that it was classy knitware! I had comments

Oh god, marking place and praying for inspiration. Please lord, a soft black knit cardigan that doesn't have those horrible underarm rolly bits after two washes.
