I'm approaching my 30s and have started to really think about my skin.
Wondered what everyone else's routine was as different assistants in stores have given different advice.
I've discovered serum and I'm loving it the testers I've been given to try. Especially the Tata Harper however it's out if my budget! Hmm

Asparagus - I am spot prone (grrr) and after nearly 30 years of spots, my skin's looking very discoloured from old spot marks. I started using the rosehip oil to help with this, and so far I love it : )

Thanks for the tip formerdiva! I may give that a go then. Where do you get yours from?

I ordered it from amazon. It's called Trilogy, but there's been a thread on MN about it that may be a bit more helpful. Also, I think Liz Earle's face oil may have rosehip oil in.

Also love Emma Hardie Moringa, it's amazing.

Great - will give it a try, thanks!

I am in my late thirties and always get compliments for looking younger!

No big secret: balanced diet and hydration in the inside (lots of fresh fruits, veggies, water). I don't smoke nor drink, so that probably helped a lot too.

On the outside:

Morning: simple routine of olive oil based soap with warm water. I use rosehip oil from boots or other blends of face oils (pure oils and no chemicals), then I moisturise with some organic face cream such as Dr Hauschka's ones or even the boots organic one.

Evening: wash out with my olive oil based soap and warm water, and massage my rosehip oil as a night moisturiser. I was told by a few beauticians years ago that creams on your face in the evenings are really not the best.

Other products I've tried and loved: pure argan oil instead of rosehip oil.

My general advice: no secret: good diet, plenty of water. You need to look after your skin from the inside first, because there are no miracle products.

Fern, I have breakouts and little lines!!
But just found a fab routine and had no serious breakouts for four months now.
I use liz earl from John Lewis. It is gorgeous,
Twice a day, hot polishing cleanser, spray on and leave cooling tonic (no toner as strips skin) then I alternate between their moisturiser or light simple moisturiser. It's working, supple skin with occasional breakout (only at time of month instead of all the time)
I'm 35 by the way
