Make up palettes

...my mum said she'd get me a nice posh one for Christmas...

I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for eye shadow/blush ones?

I have dark red hair, fair skin and green eyes if that helps!

I treated myself to a soap and glory palette from boots today, it has 12 shadows and an eyeliner pen. Sleek palettes are also fab.

Don't know about blusher ones but I have recently purchased the smashbox eye palette for hazel eyes, it's totally brill. I usually wear bobbi brown , but smashbox smashes bobbi out of the park.

Thank you both- never considered soap and glory- I assumed they just done skin care- will investigate. Also heard good things about smashbox. I'm reluctant to try b brown as I bought a £££ foundation that separated into oil and liquid and was an unusable disgusting sludge.

The only palette I ever bought was coastal scents when I lived in the US. V good and cheap but not available here unfortunately.

NYX do some brilliant palettes for about £20. Great quality for the price.

Smashbox, mac, nars and urban decay do the best palettes. Often matching them to eye colour too.

As far as pallettes go. Its always urban decay for me. The eye shadows are great and have good pigmentation.
I always get the limited edition ones. Also the 'naked' pallette they do are great as well.

I got a sleek palette from superdrug after seeing a recommendation on here - it's as good as my urban decay one and about a third of the price!

Naked by urban decay is excellent, really good ( the eyeshadow fixer thing is also really brilliant)
Laura Mercier also does great palettes but are v spenney

You must buy the urban decay naked 2 one! It's fabulous- I'm even wearing it today as I love it so much and Sunday is normally a make up free day!!

There is lovely one from Dior in colours which may suit, it's highlighter, pale pink, pale Bronzy brown and a dark brown with a blusher and lip gloss ( 3 choices) its hand sized.
