I have a black tulip wrap skirt. To update it for the party season I was thinking of a jewelled knit like this one. Is that covered by the sequin rule or am I at risk of looking irredeemably naff?

Total bargain from H&M but can't find them on the site. They are a dark gold and look fab for daytime but work for evening with heels and a loose fit tank.

Not sure about cool.....but it would certainly make you 40+ if you remember it first time around!!

Is this dress taking it too far? I kinda like it, have a big family do on the 21st December, but my sister isn't keen. (I'm 5'7, size 10 edging on a 12!!) Don't know if I'm brave enough, but think with the structured shape of it, it might look nice on.
