It's amazing! I know it's her job, but she makes it look so easy. The before and after still are incredible but still so natural.

Now, how do I go about recreating that but without spending a fortune on all those products?

Or do I have to go back to my early teens and spend my evening practising my make-up Smile

I'd be impressed if she had done it with 5 products that cost less than £7 each. This one, not so much.

JuliaFlyte · 29/11/2012 22:50

I love Lisa, how fab that she has done a video especially for us Smile

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 30/11/2012 06:59

Brill as always Smile

I love Lisa too. Fab video. Would love it if she'd do a webchat, too.

She often uses cheaper products. You could probably use Bourjois Healthy Mix instead of the Chanel. The MUA Undressed pallette has a dark grey/black and a gold similar to the one in the vid, and it's only £4. And Revlon do those chunky lip pencil things.

CountBapula · 30/11/2012 07:14

Oh, and Maybelline do a great gel liner, and the No 7 foundation brush is excellent. I do use the Clinique Airbrush and it's fab, but have seen people on here recommend light-reflective pens by Collection 2000 and Aldi.

Ive been looking at a lot of her videos and notice she uses a lot of different products each time. It makes me wonder if she ever uses any standard favourites over again.
I am currently limited to just one of each thing, having left my well paid job to start a freelance career = happy but poor - and would love to see a video on living with the minimum or on the best absolute budget product.

laptopdancer · 30/11/2012 07:20

I also love but also at the same time find the long haul video amusing. Having done the long haul many many times myself, I would find the routing difficult with children and with the room you get in cattle class. I would still do it but would be heading for the bathroom.

judefawley · 30/11/2012 07:39

I had never heard of Lisa, but have now watched that video twice.

I have identical colouring to her; I think of myself as pretty good with make up but it had never occurred to me to use eyeshadow colours like the Dior one she uses.

I am fighting the urge to go and buy all of her make-up and all of her make-up brushes now.

laptopdancer · 30/11/2012 08:46

Same here Jude.First time I've heard of her and same colouring, albeit at a guess 10 years older than her. I really like the antiageing vidoe, although I found the tone a little insulting in parts.

plaingirly · 30/11/2012 13:09

Wow in the first photo she looks like a normal person that you could pass on the street or in the supermarket but the after look is stunning!

JuliaFlyte · 30/11/2012 13:11

I think that's the great thing about her videos plaingirly. She starts off looking a bit tired and a bit washed out, but the end of the video she looks amazing. Gives us all hope Grin

plaingirly · 30/11/2012 20:52

She does look amazing!

Will have to practise with eye make and all that blending!

suebfg · 30/11/2012 21:10

But Ishe does have good bone structure, wide eyes etc i.e. the basics are there. I think I need more than make up these days Grin

laptopdancer · 01/12/2012 08:31

So true suebfg. I have really big cheeks and always have. It helps me to look younger but it's a hindrance with makeup. I really loved that season where blush went on the apples of the cheeks instead of as a cheekbone highnlighter.

knitknack · 23/12/2012 19:54

Can anyone tell me which blusher shade she uses in this vid?
