I think I may have finally found the dress I want, but it is a lot bit more £££'s than I was planning, so wanted to put it to the MN S&B gurus before I click buy now.

It is here

What I would like to know is:- what is the quality of Coast like, how do their sizes come up, and is the style nice or no? What do you think of the lurex panel? I plan to wear it over Xmas and New Year - parties and Christmas Day.

Any advice gratefully received, but if it is a resounding no, then please find me an alternative Grin

I love all of coasts clothing. Unfortunately, I put on 4 stone since having children and can no longer fit into their wonderful clothes.

The quality, in my experience, is very good. Their sizes are accurate. I've never needed a size up or down from my normal size.

It's a great dress and you should get years of use from it! Sexy!

This one is nice too. (It shows up better if you look at the red or blue dress)

Thanks, Toofat, the Olivia is lovely too, but I think I still prefer my one.

I wonder if anyone already has it? I'm wondering what the gold lurex panel looks like in the flesh.

Honestly I'm not a fan of one boob sparkly other one plain.

I would go for a nice black jersey dress and accessorise -- you would get a lot more use out of a non-lurex panelled dress.

Updating for the benefit of anyone else still looking for a dress. I went ahead and ordered the dress, but was very disappointed. Firstly, it was too small Blush. But I also thought it didn't lie right, and wouldn't have done even in a size up, and the material was alot flimsier than I anticipated. It also had a zip down the side which was too heavy for the fabric, and made a strange wavy shape on one hip - not a good look!

So, I sent it back, using the Collect + servive. Here I was impressed! I dropped the box off Wednesday morning, and first thing on Friday morning ie when I checked my phone at 6.30am, there was an e-mail from Coast to say my return had been processed and I had been refunded, and another from Paypal confirming. I thought that was very quick!!!

Today I had some time sans toddler, so I went in to town and tried on loads of dresses. Monsoon, House of Fraser, M&S, - experience with Per Una dress here.

In the end I purchased this dress and am delighted. It is very flattering on, though maybe a little long on me, as I am a short-arse - it come to below the knee on me!! But it is very forgiving to all my lumpy bits, which many of the dresses I tried on today were definitely not - so can definitely recommend!

But having tried on so many dresses today, I think I got the right one in the end!
