Liz Earle resigns?

Just seen a FB status about LE resigning as a director - I know Avon bought a share of the business a few years back, but wonder what this is about? Anyone know?

If they are outsourcing it all and will make people on the IoW redundant I shall stop using Liz Earle. I notice that all the make up is made in Italy.

This is a real shame. I do wonder why we are meant to support smaller businesses so much when ultimately the owners are usually looking to sell and that nearly always leaves the staff out of work.

Big business always lies. The Cadbury factory near Bristol was closed recently after the sale to Kraft. They promised that wouldn't happen.

Oh dear... Will they alter the product and I have to start again the hunt for decent skincare stuff?

And I like getting my box of goodies through the post and the stickers from Linda/Helen etc who put together my order.

It was only a matter of time imo since she sold out to Avon.

I stopped buying her over priced products about 6 months ago and now use The Body Shop's Aloe range which is a third of the price and far superior imo.

Will it change? Of course it will.

I never got on with her products, but do many people do and it's a shame if jobs go.

I wonder if she'll go off and start a new company in a few years like Jo Malone.

I've been experimenting with other brands too as I felt it was getting too expensive. Will go and check out the BS Aloe range too
