Why do you want to lose it so quickly?
If you are due on 10th december you might be in labour 2 weeks after that.

I would suggest you don't put such pressure on yourself, it's not possible in 2 weeks in my opinion. It takes 6 weeks for your womb to shrink back to its previous size anyway, so your tummy is likely to be bigger until then. Breastfeeding certainly helps you to shift some of the weight. I've had 2 dcs (last one 4 months ago), and have done nothing to assist weight loss, and have been back to my usual weight within about 3 months. The time taken to lose the weight will obviously depend hugely on how much you have gained. Having a new baby is hard enough, don't make it even harder for yourself!

If you haven't gained much weight you might be back to your pre-baby weight in 2 weeks, but don't expect your body to look the same!

yes, if you've only gained a stone then your weight will be fine, but your body will be buggered for a while.

2 weeks post birth is not the time to be worrying about getting into shape, you will be healing (unless you are very lucky and almost sneeze out the baby Smile ) , tired and finding your feet as parents.

I was at the gym by 12 weeks both times, even my vain old gym addicted self wasn't going to rush to get my shape back. 2 weeks post birth I was hardly brushing my teeth or showering.

What have you got in 2 weeks time, Xmas / New Year party?

scarlettsmummy2 · 28/11/2012 21:58

I lost my baby weight in 12 weeks this time, took six months first time. I breastfed, used myfitnesspal and stuck to 1700 calories a day (500 extra for breastfeeding) and walked three miles a day from about two weeks post birth. You do need to be quite focused but I think you are a bit delusional to think you will lose it all in two weeks, your uterus won't even be completely contracted by then and your stomach muscles will need more time to repair themselves.
