I just noticed some lovely looking cashmere sweaters in our larger Hennes....priced at £39.99. Had my eye on the grey (they come in baby blue, pink) but wld love to know if anyone has purchased. They LOOK good, feel soft but look a bit "bobbable"! Also has anyone machine washed? TIA

there was a review on the DMail (apologies) of cashmere: here I don't think they did H&M -but Uniqlo came out well (and have £20 off)

I got a cashmere v neck from H&M about 3 years ago for £50 and it's lovely - not bobbly, feels much softer and better quality than my Uniqlo one (although that's also lovely). But I wouldn't wash them in the machine!! Stone cold handwash only, and no scrunching or wringing. I have shrunk too much wool in my time to risk anything else.

Watching with interest. I bought myself a grey cashmere cardi from H&M to give to DH to give to me for Christmas - got it online with £5 code and a 25% off code (sorry, don't have them to hand, but check the Christmas bargains thread!). Am hoping it will be fantastic quality and last for years. On the face of it, looks pretty good, nice and substantial (unlike my Zara cashmere jumper) and a nice fit.

This thread just caused me to order a light emerald green crew neck cashmere jumper from Uniqlo - £20 off - excited! Though it will prob be too small as they only had XS and L left :(

Shld have bought it there and then. My over caution always seems to cost when stuff is out of stock!

I bought the grey one and it feels really soft. Wearing it you feel really cosy with a t shirt underneath. I have some older cashmere jumpers which are a lot thicker and this is no where near this but then I wasn't expecting it to be at that price.

I haven't washed it yet but so far so good.
