Hair cut v short at one side?

I quite fancy this, just a small section cut very short on one side. The long hair at the top can then either worn over it or clipped back to reveal shortness, a-la-Rhianna.

Will I regret it?! I have shoulder-length curly hair.

I don't think you'll regret it. It can easily be disguised if you don't like it and will grow back.

I've seen this quite a bit where I live at the moment. Some people can pull it off. They tend to be very trendy in terms of clothes and makeup, young and very pretty. In those who are not any of those things it doesn't look great to be fair.

It was all the rage back in my day (old gimmer) we called it an undercut and it went the whole way around. I loved it, but then, my hair was pink (home dye accident more than anything else) at the time and I loved Kurt Cobain.

I'm not overly trendy and certainly not young, but I've always been fairly adventurous with my hair so I like something a bit unusual. I had very short hair for years and its only in the last 2 yrs that I've grown it (I'm 38)

I like it long but it just looks a bit boring. I get a bit compulsive sometimes & I've had a couple of urges to get it all cut short again. I suppose this would be a way of having both?
