Does body brushing work?

I need to do something to brighten up shoulders/decolletage/arms, and I wondered if anyone body brushes? Or is it a waste of time?
Thanks!

I use one every morning on my arms and legs. I think it helps with circulation?

What do you use? I had a giant toothbrush thing intended for the purpose but threw it out. Is there something a bit more handy?

My skin can take a fair beating so I use a rougher one and then slather moisturiser on afterwards, I definitely wouldn't use it on my decolletage though. I definitely get better results with an exfoliation mitt, maybe you could use a light reflecting body lotion in the meantime?

I had it shown to me from an early(ish) age... my granny believed in it and she had beautiful skin. I think it makes a huge difference. I body brush every morning and it really wakes your circulation up (arms/ legs). Make sure you buy a natural bristle brush, long handle helps and replace them when not feeling that wake up feeling!! Give it a go!!
