Black flat ankle boots

Everyone hates everything I suggest on here so find me some you do like!

I want a pair of black flat ankle boots. Flat (ish) because I walk everywhere. Ankle boots because, I'm sorry, I have tried but skinny jeans look damn foolish on me and I wear straight jeans.

Oh. And they have to be damn cheap too. But leather or suede.

I got nice ones from Clarks last year.

What does nice mean? Everything I think is nice gets universally slammed on here and I feel I have no idea.

try sarenza, I picked up a really nice pair there. They do lots of "copies" of more expensive brands. Or Zara for cheap and quite nice.

How flat do you want them?

I used to get block heel flattish ones from M & S every year but this year they've changed the ankle bit and it's got an elasticated bit which I hate.

or Chelsea boots, good with leggings too...I saw some in River Island

I have a Chelsea boot in grey. I think it looks a bit odd with leggings on me. Maybe I'm just a bit conservative. Or old. Don't know.
