I think I might do this (wear a dress/skirt every day in December). The trouble is I only EVER wear jeans. Where do I start? What is the skirt equivalent of jeans to ease myself gently into it?

I have pretty low confidence and worry about it a bit. Any advice from the glamorous?

What do I wear on my feet?

I did this a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. I wear skirts and dresses most days now, when before I wore jeans. A simple jersey dress is a good start. So comfortable. Dresses and skirts look great with boots, and I also wear them with brogues and slipper style shoes.

Queen where do you get your jersey dresses?

Sorry meant Quinn.

H&M do lots of jersey dresses, they are very plain, cheap too, so if you don't like them you haven't spent too much, they are everywhere on the high street, printed & plain, skater style, wrap, straight, t-shirt. Tea dress can work too, good for layering to keep warm.

There are loads of skirts about too, all lengths, midi, tube, flare, tulip, pencil and mini. I quite like the look of jersey tube skirts, but I am short so they might not suit me!

Thank you for your suggestions. Quinn, I am really impressed that it has changed you. I think I'm hoping for that myself.
