I'm a clueless M&S buying bra naif

If I'm 39.5 around my boobs (unfettered) and 34 (pulled fairly tight) under.....what bra size should I be wearing??

Oh yeah, I'm wearing 36C/D at the minute. From M&S.

I'm clearly not sorrell, but I think I would try a 34e

I am also not sorrel, but yes, 34DD or 34E would be my starting point.
