Bought a nail varnish by Barry M because I like the colour.
No complaints as it is a lovely nail varnish, however, it has an extra top which is magnetic.
what is that all about?

well i bought that for my dd stocking at christmas, but i've put it away somewhere and cant find it!

Is it any good?

marilynwhirlwind · 22/11/2012 21:55

well i've only used it as I would any other nail varnish and it goes on nicely with good coverage after 2 coats,. Lasts well (although i only tend to wear nail varnish for 2-3 days as can't wear it for work).
But don't know if it has any hidden properties with being magnetic.

Once you've painted your second coat, IMMEDIATELY hover the magnet on the cap over your nail. The polish has a reaction to the magnet and it creates an effect on your nail. Mine tend to look like 'waves on the sand', iyswim?

Have a go the next time you paint them and see!

The magnetic effects are brill.

I love it.

I find it soft tho, and needs a topcoat.
