Dress for a ball - help!

So I have a ball with with next week and I need a dress to wear

I'm feeling decidedly chubby at the minute and most things seem to look a bit clingy for me to feel comfortable in - I've seen this but not sure if it's a bit frumpy, even though it's sparkly - thoughts???

I'm 34, size 14, 5' 7' ish would wear it with heels

Oh god no!

That's horrible and would be incredibly unflattering. The top half looks like a gypsy top and the bottom like something a granny would wear on a cruise.

Is your budget £100?

What colours do you like?

What's your style?

Personally I don't think it will be particularly flattering.

Budget is about £120, I wanted something a bit sparkley but all the ones I've seen so far I'm not keen on, I prefer bold/bright colours
