Just trekked into town with both DC too discover that the branch doesn't have a childrens section. Am about to order on line but wibbling about sizing...

From what I can remember the kids stuff does come up a bit small.

notMarlene · 21/11/2012 15:45

Thanks! I'll size up then - I reckon it'll look OK even if it's a bit big. Here

I'm a size 8 (grown up!) and fit happily into their age 11-12 jeans Blush so I reckon they come up quite big!

Their baby stuff is sized normally. DD is in 12-18 and is everywhere else too.

ScaredySquirrel · 21/11/2012 16:26

its huge ime - I just had to send stuff back for my dds because it's massive. I bought the size I normally would for them and it was way too big. You may need to go down one size even from their age.

(and agree baby stuff is accurately sized).

7to25 · 21/11/2012 18:00

I think it comes up big for the boys sizes, huge even.

notMarlene · 21/11/2012 18:04

Oh heck. Worried again now - thanks though Wink

DD is 108cm so I ordered the 4-5 (110cm) and the 5-6 (118cm). I think it'd look OK if it's a bit big, any opinions?

I agree, kids stuff definitely comes up quite large.

suburbophobe · 21/11/2012 18:08

Well, I've never even been to Zara Grin

But I think you need to read this before subjecting your DC to their clothes.....

Just read it yesterday Shock

Sorry didnt post about outfit, if the armholes are too gapey it wont look great.

mysteryfairy · 21/11/2012 18:21

A lot of the girls dresses from zara are very wide in my experience so that its impossible to get one that is long enough without it gaping a lot.

GlitKnit · 21/11/2012 18:22

Boys used to be huge

Spoiltexpatbrat · 21/11/2012 18:23

My nearly three year old dd was still wearing 3-6 months shorts this summer Shock she is tiny but that is just silly! The girls stuff seem to come up bigger than the boys for some reason Hmm

PropositionJoe · 21/11/2012 18:24

Stuff in boys is long but not wide, ime. Much like the womens!

Taffeta · 21/11/2012 18:27

My DC are both average size in clothes. Have Zara dresses and cardis for DD (6) and they are bang on size. DS (9) has a few pairs of trousers that are long but skinny so fine, and waist is adjustable so scrunched up to max.

I love the quality and the style of Zara kids, am a big fan and so are the DC.

noddyholder · 21/11/2012 18:28
