Does anyone know whether the cool white streak is natural grey or bleached in?

OP posts:
Pootles2010 · 14/11/2012 16:28

Bleached in.

MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic · 14/11/2012 16:29

If Dave Vanian and Robert Smith could have a secret love child, she'd be it (I love her hair)

floradora · 14/11/2012 20:47

Anyone remember Dickie Davies? Or am I a on the getting on a bit side..?

JuliaFlyte · 14/11/2012 21:24

Grin at Dickie Davies

AnnieMated · 14/11/2012 21:27

'Cool' white streak? Hmm

FreddieMercurysBolero · 14/11/2012 21:40

She looks like a demented badger.

NewNames · 14/11/2012 21:41

Stupid white streak

Justreadthefuckingwords · 14/11/2012 22:41

DH has a similar white streak, people always assume it's dyed.

This upsets him immensely as he tries to cultivate an air of disheveled nonchalance.

germyrabbit · 14/11/2012 22:45

it looks like streaks not a streak, i quite like it myself

Eliza22 · 15/11/2012 08:38

It always looks like it needs a good wash and a comb running through it, to me.

Bleached, for sure.

NewNames · 15/11/2012 09:07

The Miliband of brothers carry it off far better

PlumSykes · 15/11/2012 09:36

I love her hair, and she mentions it in new book. Is dyed. Whereas if I didn't dye mine, I'd have similar.

reindeerjumper · 15/11/2012 09:46

I aspire to hair like that

OP posts:
Diana2000 · 15/11/2012 09:52

She's had her hair like that ever since she was a tv presenter in her teens. Definitely bleach.

Eliza22 · 15/11/2012 13:54

Raindeerjumper, in fairness, if your hair is of that length and largish, it wouldn't be hard to achieve. There's a lot of colour in there and very little use of conditioner.

Voila!

Eliza22 · 15/11/2012 13:55

"Longish"

ScottOfTheArseAntics · 15/11/2012 14:04

How weird to find this thread. I have been thinking about her hair for ages and how good it looks. In the context of my rather ordinary life that look would be quite out there so I have decided on a bit of light balayage/ombre to create a more toned down version. I actually have a consultation with my hairdresser at 4.30pm today.

reindeerjumper · 15/11/2012 14:33

balayage? That sounds like an esoteric sex act.

OP posts:
FreddieMercurysBolero · 15/11/2012 14:34

I like the bayalage thing Scott, I'm kind of working that look right now, not out of choice though... Let us know how it goes.

No to badgeryness though, unless you are 14.

SpringHeeledJack · 15/11/2012 14:36

at ScottoftheArseAntics

SpringHeeledJack · 15/11/2012 14:37

anyways I like her hair

it's good to have a schtick

FreddieMercurysBolero · 15/11/2012 14:50

Oh I just got that, Spring... I suppose it kept him warm, didn't it? Grin

Schtick can be a good thing, but not if it's too schticky.

SpringHeeledJack · 15/11/2012 15:02

I've heard that rumour before, Freddie. Someone on the twitter reckoned that Scott and Shackleton had a brrrrmance

my friend has met CM, and says she is tiny and smells of lovely sweets

imagine

aquavit · 15/11/2012 15:12

I met CM about 15 years ago

I don't recall her smelling of sweets but she did have excellent hair

SpringHeeledJack · 15/11/2012 15:21

awww

maybe she'd just polished off some percy pigs and it was a one off rather than a permanent thing

I'm quite disappointed, to be honest
