Boots issue

So I bought a lovely pair of leather boots yesterday which fitted perfectly in the shop. Now I've been wearing then today they're killing the backs of my ankles. They were really exspensive so I don't want to give up on them. How do I make them comfy again?

Can you just pop a couple of blister plasters on the painful area and wait for the shoes to wear in/your feet to harden up?

Yeah I guess that would work, the leather where my heel sits seems to be a lot harder then the rest which I think is making it sore. Guess I'll just have to work through the pain, they are very lovely boots

Beauty is pain!!! (I always have a big stock of blister plasters at home)
