I don't 'need' boots but I would like them. Love them both but if I bought one pair they would have to go on the card (no financial advice please).

So tell me you hate them Grin or the ones you like best Grin

Clarks have 20% off again with the code BELLS until 25th Nov too.

NettoSpookerstar · 12/11/2012 11:51

I love the first pair, no financial criticism from me either, since my friend lent me £60 to buy a coat recently!Grin
(Paying her back tomorrow and it was a bargain Merrell Haven for £65)

I have the shorter version of those Fly mes boots and they are not as special as they look. I usually love Fly but tend to prefer the wedge heels as they are so comfy and give me extra height. Worth watching Flys on amazon for a while as the price really fluctuates and different colours are cheaper.

Annianni · 12/11/2012 12:04

You said they'd be card purchases, which does mean that you don't have the money to pay for them at the moment.

Nobody said you were struggling financially.

If you'd not mentioned how you'd be paying, nobody would have commented.

If they were beautiful, or a bargain, then people would probably say yep, get them.

SparkyTGD · 12/11/2012 12:08

I liked the look of first pair myself and have tried them on but too heavy & clumpy for me.

donnie · 12/11/2012 12:12

Fly, every time.

I speak as the Queen of Fly, having 3 pairs of their boots, 4 pairs of their shoes and 2 pairs of their sandals in my cupboard.

Uggs are vile and make everyone look fat and squat, as well as uber chavvy - in my humble opinion of course Grin

dexter73 · 12/11/2012 12:37

I have the Clarks ones and they are lovely. BELLS for 20% off at Clarks.

dexter73 · 12/11/2012 12:39

BTW I buy everything on my credit card as I get John Lewis vouchers with the points.

piratecat · 12/11/2012 12:44

i have the black majorca ones here at £99, got em last yr and they are great.

my sis has these majorca villa here and they are gorgeous.

i wouldn't buy fly boots they dont last.

BunnyLeBOOwski · 12/11/2012 12:47

Agree with MrsWolowitz - Fly boots are hideous.

They look like something the Gestapo would wear. So ugly.

The Clarks ones are.....meh. Definitely wouldn't be getting out the plastic for them.

fedupofnamechanging · 12/11/2012 13:49

I prefer the fly ones, but neither are wonderful imo. Given that you don't actually need them, why don't you wait for the sales? and then buy both if you still can't decide. You will feel more satisfaction at getting them at a cheaper price than you will paying full whack, when you don't even need them.
