Vote on a coat? (or suggest something better)

I need a new wool coat, I have a fitted grey one that I have had for years and I love it but I need one in another colour because some things just don't look right with the grey one. So I was wondering about this one in red and this one in orange - what do you think?

Red one definitely. As long as the collar won't make you itch (it would me).

The red one is striking and different, the orange one is nice but boring.

Red is lovely, orange is dull but red may look crap unless buttoned up, you need to try it on and see how it will feel unbuttoned.

The red is beautiful but I too would struggle with the neckline. I have a igh necked coat which has been relegated because it makes me itch!

The red coat is beautiful, but made me think of Lucy Wordsley ( not that that's a bad thing, but could imagine her wearing it. The orange coat was boring.

Well, my red coat arrived today but I'm not sure yet if it is a keeper. The coat feels very slightly itchy and isn't cut quite as flattering as the picture suggests.

Like the colour of the red, but that collar looks OTT. It would not suit me as have a little narrow face, but could look lovely on you. And if it is wool, I can't wool on my neck as much too itchy.

Oh no Sue, and it was looking so promising! I still haven't managed to get to the outlet to try it on but am starting to think I might prefer something i can wear with a scarf...
