I am neither stylish or beautiful, but I thought those of you who are might like to know that TKMaxx had a big selection of boxed Missoni scarfs today. Some were made of fine wool, and others were more silky. Lots of different colour combos.

They were £39.99 I think, down from £85-£125.

My local store is going to call me when/if they get them. Bought lovely Calvin Klein scarf and another from Johnsons of Elgin plus twentyeighttwelve sweater and another cardigan of no particular pedigree. Very pleased

Mignorette I think you and I could be scarf buddies as I bought a Missoni scarf back in September from TK Maxx and a cashmere Johnsons scarf just last week.

One near me (Waterlooville) had All Saints jumpers, Merrel boots, Levi curve id jeans & all sorts of amazing goodies when I was in last there a few weeks ago.

I was skint though.

Nooo why now, why when I am skint?! I have a blue one I adore that I got in the NAP sale for £40 last Christmas, and the pinkish one on there looks like one I bought mum for her birthday a few years ago in Harrods and paid over £100 for - in the days pre-kids when I had money!

I got some Levi's curve skinnies in the Truro branch last week - very pleased, especially as they are a 34" leg :D

They'd had some in smaller sizes or different styles a while back, but I wanted a skinny pair. £25!

Aw, my lovely Granny is a serious Missoni fan. As it's massively expensive, she just appreciates it from afar. Not any more! Bought one for her Christmas stocking. I'm very grateful AgentP, thanks so much

Thank you to the OP for making me discover TK Maxx! I always assumed it was like another Matalan but how wrong I was! I didn't buy a scarf but I did buy:

• a gorgeous Karen Millen watch for my mum for Christmas
• three lovely cardigans
• a gorgeous wool dress
• a craghoppers waterproof coat which is actually not frumpy

I'm skint, but happy!

My latest haul in-shop has been 2 wool coats-one a casual shorter grey one and a smarter Feraud plum military trench.Plus fitflop booties,an online cashmere tunic and Bearpaw sheepskin booties for under 30 pounds.Do i win the prize for the most conspicuous Tk Maxx expenditure?
