Best eye makeup remover?

merlin · 07/11/2012 20:51

Had a MAC makeup lesson today- fab- did a smoky eye with far more stuff than I'm used to using and now my gentle Simple remover is struggling!

Any recommendations please for sensitive eyes?

Lancôme is nice

EllenParsons · 08/11/2012 00:50

Clinique take the day off

UltraBOF · 08/11/2012 01:09

Baby oil. Any oil really.

The absolute best is the Body Shop camomile one. The sloshy liquid, not a gel. I've used it for eons, I try swanky ones but I always return...

Clinique rinse off eye make up solvent or, on a budget, Boots' Botanics.

The 2-phase liquid ones like Lancôme Bi-Facil are best I find, though I use the Boots No 7 one as it is half the price and just as good.

Use the Simple on but with a hot cloth - works better!

Clinique take the day off or Lush Ultrabland.

I'm amazed you like Simple in the first place if you have sensitive eyes - I used it for years but had to abandon as I think they must have changed it somehow, it makes my eyes really sting. I quite like the Boots No.7 one although it's a little greasy (never buy it without the £5 discount voucher which makes it quite cheap). Lancome also really good and very gentle.

valiumredhead · 08/11/2012 09:16

TBS one is fantastic as suggested earlier.

41notTrendy · 08/11/2012 09:20

The boots botanics one is good, double layer/liquid thing. Saw it recommended on mumsnet Smile
The oily ones send me blurry!
The Clinique one is excellent but tis too pricey for me now.

CarpeJugulum · 08/11/2012 09:26

Garnier is good for me.

NarcolepsyQueen · 08/11/2012 09:27

Baby oil - NOTHING is as good in my opinion. Even the Mac girls use it!

ISingSoprano · 08/11/2012 09:28

I too like the Body Shop eye make up remover. I have used it for years.

mollymole · 08/11/2012 09:29

2nd Body Shop camomile - liquid.
I have very sensitive eyes but find this gentle and it does the cleaning job

Aquelven · 08/11/2012 11:45

This, brilliant & only £1.50. Used it for years & wouldn't swap back to the expensive ones I used before.
