Zara for kids

Wanting to Purchase a coat for my son from Zara just unsure about sizing etc as with some designers (ted baker) i find the size for the age a lot smaller & also is Zara good quality ??
Any help would be great as i have never purchased from there before Thanks

They come up quite small, in my experience. Quality usually good, depends on fabric content.

I found Zara baby to be a lot smaller (2-3 is 94cms). The kids stuff is slightly better, 118cms for a 5-6.
The girls clothes are lovely quality, love their slubby tops and cord dresses.
Ted baker annoyed me, my DD was in an 18-24 coat and 9-12 everywhere else!

RugBugs my lIttle lad is the same with Baker , so just wanting to make sure i order the right size as he is in 3-4 everywhere and didnt want to faff about ordering the wrong size

I would avoid the tops; I bought a few last year for ds and dd and the material is paper thin esp. the girls tops. One wash and they all look like boiled dishcloths
